Committee on Community Action
The Committee on Community Action consists of a minimum of nine members whose duty is to coordinate and promote involvement of Lodges in community activities to promote awareness of the fraternity by the general public.
Included in such activities are: outreach to widows, inactive or delinquent members, blood drives, charity dinners, prospective member programs, and interaction with other civic and service groups.
Masons learn that by improving themselves they automatically improve the communities they live in.
Masonic leaders are often leaders of their communities, and programs which organize and galvanize communities also make Masonry meaningful to the world.
